We have been doing a series at the Uprising on sharing your faith so this week I asked Billy Suess to come and talk to our kids about Younglife. In our student ministry we have a lot of kids who are processing who God is in their journey and that fires me up. As they wrestle with God I love to think that there are others out there who want ot help them. For their other side of our student ministry it was good for me to be able to point to Younglife as a place that they can start with their friends.
We love the Younglife environement because we love relationships and Jesus. I know we are going to have alot of kids that will come this year and feel safe, cared for, loved, and free to be in process without judgement but we are also going to have kids that won't come. If they walk through Younglife because we challenged kids to consider it then we've seen a beautiful thing unfold. This picture below is Billy on the left and Jason Patchell on the right. Jason introduced me to and let me in to the beautiful world of Younglife. I learned so much there. I'm a better youth pastor because of them. Jason let me chase after kids on part time staff as a Wyldlife leader. That gave me a chance to see Frontier Ranch and Southwind. Do everything you can to work with and support Younglife.

Thanks for the YL props. You are modeling a healthy relationship between YL and the church. You are kingdom minded and helping YL become more connected. You are truly incarnational as you come to other ministries and give them love.
